“Starry Night” is a responsive machine enables users to “make” stars in a participatory way on their own initiative by using the principle of electromagnetic induction.

By calculating the parameter of gears, including the radius and the number of teeth of gears, make sure the motive energy can be transformed into enough electricity to light up the LED.

Rotate the handle on the machine, the gears and the magnet connected to the coil spin, then it produce the electricity to turn on the LED light and there appears an asterism under the tent.
